Description

Black Mulsum is a honey-wine drink crafted from the juice of the Odeskyi Chornyi grape variety and natural honey. No added sugar or alcohol. Just two ingredients — perfectly balanced.

The juicy, rich, ruby-red juice of one of Ukraine’s most expressive grape varieties meets honey to give birth to a modern interpretation of one of the world’s oldest beverages — mulsum.

In Ancient Rome, wines were often of questionable quality, so people tried to improve them in various ways: some added water, others — spices or honey. That’s how mulsum was born — a drink made by mixing wine with honey, typically in a 5 to 1 ratio. It was sometimes gently heated or left to infuse, resulting in a softer, more aromatic drink.

We’ve reimagined this tradition — and created a new story of flavor.
