Herbal honey is collected from flowers that are dominant in our area (chamomile, sunflower, dandelion, etc.). The color depends on the dominant plant species present in the honey. Therefore, it varies from light amber to light brown. The same goes for the aroma and flavor. If, for example, sunflower nectar predominates, then the honey will be light in color with a golden hue, a not harsh pleasant aroma and a tart taste. And if linden prevails, the honey will be lighter with a characteristic linden flavor.
Herbal honey is a polyfluorinated honey that combines nectar and pollen from several flowering plants. The collection of this honey by bees begins in May and lasts until September. The main feature of this honey is the collection of nectar and pollen from dozens of species of flowers that bloom near the collection.
